Sex, Relationship and Couples Therapy.

A safe, confidential space for individuals & couples

to understand their sexual or relationship issues.

Putney, South West London &

Online Nationwide.

Challenges in our sexual and intimate lives can feel hard to talk about. Deeper connection, pleasurable sex and fulfilling relationships are at the heart of intimacy, yet few of us learn how to achieve them. You can be left feeling embarrassed, ashamed, feeling as though you're not good enough, lonely, misunderstood and deeply distressed. Whether you are grappling with sexual concerns, looking to rediscover intimacy and connection or navigating major life transitions know that you're not alone.

About Me

Hi, I'm Megan. A psychosexual, relationship & couples therapist.

I work as an Integrative Therapist, meaning I use a combination of approaches and techniques which best suit my client. My approach is tailored to you and your reason for attending therapy. I'm here to support you every step of the way. My commitment is to create a warm, confidential and compassionate space where you feel heard, seen and understood.

I am a qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist (PGdip) and a Registered member of the professional body COSRT. I trained as a Psychosexual Therapist within the NHS Sexual Health South West London service and now work from my private practice in South West London. I am currently undertaking advanced training (AdvDip in Couples Therapy) to further my expertise working with couples.

Respect, inclusivity and acceptance are at the foundations of my work as a therapist, which means that I work with all gender identities, sexual orientations, sexualities and relationship constellations.

Couples Therapy

To have meaningful, connected and sexually satisfying relationships is not easy, and managing difficulties is essential for moving forward. Whether you're struggling with communication, infidelity, finances, sex, parenting, trust, stress, loss or grief, life changes, work/life balance or starting a family, relationship & couples therapy can help.

I specialise in working with couples, relationship and sexual challenges.  This includes couples in their twenties, thirties and forties who are impacted by the stresses of modern life, sexual challenges and major life transitions. Through open communication, guided interventions, and self reflection, I work with couples to gain valuable insights into their relationship dynamics, patterns and behaviours, and develop strategies for increased empathy, resolving conflicts, helping to repair and deepen connection.

Sex Therapy

For many of us, sexual well-being holds significant importance in our overall health. Yet, sexual and relationship challenges are extremely common. Sexual difficulties can appear in a number of ways from lack of sexual confidence or experience, to sexual dysfunctions and pain, sexual anxieties, self esteem and lack of desire and arousal.

Sex Therapy, also known as 'Psychosexual Therapy' is a talking therapy which involves exploring the mind, body, emotions and the impact of the wider social context. I work integratively with an understanding that psychosexual issues are not just purely physical dysfunctions but also psychological and emotional. I work alongside you to develop an understanding of the issues and together we will explore the emotions surrounding sexuality and intimacy, potential physical factors, whilst looking to identify patterns of thinking or behaviour that may contribute to your sexual difficulties and/or relationship problems.

I may also recommend exercises to complete at home, to help you improve intimacy, enhance pleasure, and overcome sexual difficulties tailored to your unique circumstances.

Sex Therapy Can Help With:

01

  • Painful sex or problems with penetrative sex, including vaginismus, vulvodynia, dyspareunia.

  • Loss of libido or difficulty becoming aroused.

  • Inability to orgasm (Anorgasmia).

  • Exploration of gender & sexuality.

  • Compulsive sexual behaviours including porn.

02

  • Relationship Conflicts: mismatched libidos, communication problems, infidelity, or sexual boredom.

  • Relationship endings.

  • Erection difficulties (Erectile Dysfunction).

  • Premature ejaculation or Delayed ejaculation.

  • Exploring your sexual-self for a better sex life.

03

  • Reducing fear and anxiety around sex, relationships and intimacy.

  • Education around sexual anatomy, function, and healthy sexual practices.

  • Sexual orientation.

  • Sexual phobias.

  • Fears around lack of sexual experiences.

It can feel uncomfortable talking about sex. While our discussions may present challenges, I will navigate them with gentle guidance, empathy, and sometimes a touch of humour. My aim is to give you a place to discover your sexual self without fear of judgement or shame, to overcome your sexual difficulties, so you can move towards a joyful sexual life, whatever that may mean for you.
